Unions are Important!

Unions are not for Big Business. They're there to protect the employee. Businesses have been pushing and breaking up unions for years to reduce the protection employees have fromt he predatory practices businesses utilize.

Low Wages = Bigger Profits

NDA's= Staff do not discuss unfair practices

An educated staff questions.

Educate yourself in your field. Develop your skills, build your knowledge library. Question processes. Learn as much as you can, as you're able. Your knowledge helps increase your value. If your organizationprovides extra training at no cost to you, participate, take note and add it to your resume.

Use your knowledge to help your team members. We're all in this together and while it may seem counter intuitive to those who want to climb, building a good team is important.

LEARN about why Unions are important. Look into when they started, and how hard people fought to get them created. Things may be bad now, but they have been worse. It was through hard work that rules were implemented to help protect employees from dangerous and unfair situations.

I know... I am... a bit scattered, but.. there's a lot going on right now. Don't let them dissolve the things that are in place to protect us.

(Also make sure you use spell check, sometimes you miss something when you write early in the morning)

Art and Work

It's been a while since I sat down and talked about anything. It was a rough... go for a while here. It's still not ideal, but I can't complain. It won't change anything even if I do.

So what CAN I do? I can tell you about some of the things I have been up to. And maybe a little bit about work. OK... not going to talk about my job, it's not exciting, but it keeps my bills paid. And... sometimes I can get atreat. SO... there's that.

But I have been working on my art, and trying to get some new items created to offer at the next event I vend at. Which might not sound exciting to you, but to me it is very exciting!

I currently have new Axolotl Costume Party sticker sheets that I will have available. They're... kinda... pricy to have made though... so I'm not 100% sure I will offer more of them in the future, or even any others than this set. They did change it slightly from my original placements, which is ok. It is a learning process to have things made. But they're adorable, and I am pretty sure, 3 of them weren't available as items before at all. SO I am proud of myself for that.

Then there is the hula axolotl magnet. I drew this particular character knowing summer is coming up, as well as wanting something a little more challenging to color. I think he turned out adorable though. I love his googly eyes. XD he makes me laugh.

I am planning a few other new items, but they're slow to make currently due to life. But, slow and steady is perfectly fine. Anyway thanks for letting me babble at you.

Turning Pages

It's been a year and things have changed a lot. I am still dealing with things that I had before, but sometimes it feels heavier than it used to. Talking to people about it, feels awkward and I don't want to be more of a burden than I already feel I am.

But there are good things that I am starting to do. I'm not going to be hiding my art like I was, but I am still going to be slow about production of anything. Cost is a major factor, as the budget is tight, but I still want to share my art with others and help bring glimmers of happiness.

Which brings me to another thing I have finally decided to settle on. I really enjoy the Furry community, and have had various fur characters over time when I roleplayed online. But I have decided to build up a character, and eventually either have a partial fur suit or at least a head.

My fursona is a type of scalie, and is my own creation. I have been working on art of her, but I am torn about how to color her clothing. Mainly because I feel they are allowed to change their outfits, so commiting to one attire look seems silly to me.

My Fursona is named Glimmer, and she is a Night Axolotl.

This is my work in progress of her character design. There are a few reasons for my choices so far. She is dark colored because I don't really want to stick out too much, but I want to also be able to keep her clean. So sometimes simple is good. I love the idea of having silver stars on her as her iridophores, because I think they're important. I also wanna make sure she has the proper toe/finger count. 5 toes, 4 fingers. (Axolotls are weird XD)

But yeah, that's where I am atm.

Trying to find glimmers of reasons to keep moving along. Hence why she's named what she is.

Yay?

Grief and Loss: A Year Later

Grief and loss are often used interchangably and while not wrong there is a varying degree that each word is valid. It's been a whole year now, and while there was grieving in my life before, this has felt different.

Partly because at the origination of the grieving process I had things to do to keep me busy, I didn't have time to just think about it. I worked on editing videos, and sorting out photographs to share on the boards. I was busy trying to answer the questions that I could answer, though there are still questions that I don't have any answers for.

Why? There is never a good reason and people are not machines. We all end eventually and that is ok. It doesn't make it feel any better for the people that are still here. But there's a lot of pain in the process of going through the memories still. But it's been a year now and to be honest, this feels harder than the original instance.

There have been times this year when I have wanted nothing more but to call my Mom. But there's not going to be the same response. Dad still has all 4 phones active. But it's not the same, because there are some things you just want to talk to your Mom about.

There are other things that have come up that while stressful have not been so terrible. The realization that at this point certain activities no longer really have a purpose for me. A wedding isn't likely to happen, but the people that would have hoped for things like that are gone. Which is fine.

There's grieving for the unknowns, the things thatmight have been, and now will never be.

It's hard to be proud of oneself, when all you feel is... frustration and dissapointment with the world around you. There's not really a sounding board out there.

True my friends and family can give me answers. But there are certain degrees of honestly that our parents are able to offer in certain situations that friends and siblings cannot.

Loss and grief, grief and loss. They're something that flow together as you process the death.

It doesn't seem to be getting easier but that's ok, especially since there is no one going to be fixing it for me. The only person that can fix the way I feel is going to be me. A fact that is very difficult.

Struggling to Find a Reason

Tonite I'm struggling. Looking at a line I've marked, knowing it's just a matter of going through with the action with a heavier hand. Knowing that the choice is one tha isn't one I can come back from once it's made. I still drew the line, It's puffed up red on my skin and has just enough tenderness that I can think about it.

Today was difficult. The whole past year has been difficult, hell I can't remember a time when I wanted to live anymore.

Everyone wants folks feeling like this, to think of everyone it will hurt. But they fail to understand how deep the pain is cutting inside to make us want to end it all.

The daily pain is making things extremely difficult.

The desire to be wanted, yet not feeling wanted. The longing for a place to belong, yet struggling just to survive.

They promised us the world, but here we are barely able to scrape by.

I'm so tired of crying everyday. I'm so tired of hurting everyday. I'm so tired of pretending everything is ok.

They say we share our pain this way, in the hopes maybe there is someone who will be able to throw us a lifeline.

but i don't know if there's anything strong enough to pull me back from the riptide in my mind this time.

And who'd even want to.

I was reminded today how difficult I am. How much of a problem I am, how much effort I require just to put up with me....

i swear i've tried so hard to be as low effort for everyone as possible.

i don't know what else i can do.

i don't know what to do.

i want to end it all so bad.

yet i hesitate. i'm not sure how much longer i can hesitate.

Reflection On the Absurdity

The insanity that is the world we are currently being subjected to in the United States is not only sad, but was fought against by our elders. The ones we have been losing for years now. The ones that are curreenly rolling in their graves. The ones who saw this all happen already, and had the receipts and photos to prove that the world doesn't need that kind of cruelty.

Yet here we are. In an absurd reality. Nothing is going the way they would have expected. Hell it has been a long time since the 40's. But it hasn't been so long that the reality of what happened has disappeared. The scars of World War II are deep around the world, yet here we are in the United States with limited reminders, and no respect for history.

I mean seriously, what scar does our country actually carry from any of the world wars? Pearl Harbor, and the graves around the world filled with brothers, husbands, sons, family. But at this point all of that is merely a ghost. There's a lack of immediacy making the things that already happened seem irrelevant to people with a lack of empathy for their fellow man.

At one point, being an American from the United States was a badge that, while sometimes flawed, let us see the world as equals. But that time has now passed. We have lost what little faith the world had in our people due to the choice of one orange fool in a half demolished white house.

I am honestly dissapointed in the people who voted for this bullshit. I am dissapointed in the people who couldn't listen to reason and common sense. The people who thought there was a quick buck to be made on the back of someone else's misery. Guess what? That misery has now come for us all, and you still defend the lunacy?

I seriously have lost hope in seeing any good come in the rest of my lifetime. At this point the damage that has been done is not goign to be repairable for decades. And it only took an idiot less than a full year to ruin everything.

I don't care if I offend you with my frustration. But right now, I have no idea what to say. We're seeing a repeat of World War II's policies and behaviors, and not stopping them?

The hardest part in this, is that the generation that put this stupidity into action should have known better. Their parents fought against it. The amount of shame I feel knowing they couldn't even stand against it long enough to vote for someone better, is sickening.

The reminders of what this will cost, are so far away around the world, but at this rate we're going to be living through it. I just hope that some of the common sense survives and makes it through into the silver lining of the future, if there is one.

I don't see one right now. And I pray for common sense, kindness, and empathy to take the wheel.

May there be a reckoning for the fools and mercy for the ones who had no choice.

Company Mergers? Netflix & WB

To be fair it feels like the number of big movie houses is narrowing. Disney is absorbign a ton of them, and now Netflix. It was a strange email to wake up to, even though I am sure it has been in the news somewhere. But to be honest, the last thing I really remember reading about changes to Netflix was that they were aquiring Sesame Street. I am attaching a copy of the email, more as a way to keep a documentation of the change. Similar to wanting to keep a note about some of the changes Disney did after pushing Disney plus vs physical sales.

I still purchase hard copy media, both music and film. So I find it frustrating to know it is goign to become even more difficult to get things that way.

Art Collaboration : Michelle Bond

It's always a good feeling when another artist has confidence in you and wants to work on pieces together. An example of this I'm going to share is a good friend that I consider Family at this point, Michelle Bond.

Michelle goes by @the.real.qe on instagram. She illustrates a ghost comic strip titled High Spirits, and also does a variety of other types of art. Not only does she draw, she also paints and does mixed media art pieces. I wish she lived closer to me q.q

I really enjoy when she drops a piece in my messages to work on, because Michelle often gives me free range to color pieces anyway that feels natural. ^_^

You should really check into her work, she's been doing a lot of art based on the music of BIlly Strings lately.

Eulogy for Mom

I’d like to thank you all for being here today, it really meant a lot to my mother how much you all cared about her. I’m sure most of you know who I am, but in case you don’t I’m Katie. And while my brothers may have been teasing about offering this task to me, after having time to think about it, I think our mother Betty would be ok with me trying to express even a portion of what made her so special to all of us.

She was born in 1960, and while to some of us it seems a short time to be here, She did a lot in her time. She played music, she went on adventures, she laughed, she cried, she beat cancer, and she made the world a better place. And in honesty, I only know portions of what she got to do while she was here. Her life was so full it could have burst at the seams.

To sum up Betty’s life in a tidy bite size piece, is an impossible task. Any of you here understand that. She lived life to the fullest. She taught us to not only share what we have, but to use our talents to improve the world around us. But most importantly Betty taught us how to Love.

Mom made sure that Love wasn’t a word that meant only one thing. While we may not have understood the various types in their divided levels she gave us wonderful examples through the way she lived.

Philia. Betty made many friends in her life. Through the loyalty and camaraderie she displayed in them, she emphasised how important affection and love for our friends is. I don’t think I can remember a time when my Godmother Laura wasn’t in our lives. The two of them were always able to find something to laugh about, whether it was nonsense that the kids were getting up to, or just reminiscing about things. But you could always feel the love in the space when they were together. But this is only ONE of many examples Betty gave us for how friendships can look. No matter what they look like, all friendships are important and help build the community we exist in. Mom made sure everyone knew how important our friends are. Many of her friends were more than just friends, they became family.

Storge. We have so many family connections. Family we are born into, family we marry into, family we turn into.  The stories and adventures she’d tell us about our family made it easy to know how deep those bonds went for her. She also made sure we knew how important it is to know where you come from. Growing up we spent many holidays, birthdays, and just random days with our family members. We’d learn family history and jokes through those interactions. Giving us insight into how  important loving our family members can be. They’re often the rocks you can cling to when the world seems to collapse around you. They may not always understand what you’re going through, but she taught us that family is there. And never to forget the ones we’ve lost because they’ve helped to get us to where we are.

Ludus. The joy she gave when sharing her musical talents and other skills. She would tease people good naturedly, and it wasn’t to be mean. She taught us it wasn’t a bad thing to share things that you think may bring joy to others. Buckskin and Calico was a huge part of her life, in fact I’ve NEVER known a part of my life when it wasn’t part of hers. Last year they celebrated 50 years of her being at the Little Valley riders club with the band. For most of us it’s hard to imagine going anywhere that long. But the friends she made there became family over the years. And I KNOW they have plenty of stories to tell about things she did out there over the years. And she really loved being out there.

Pragma and Eros, Enduring Love, patient love, romantic Love. Mom and Dad are amazing examples of this. Even when things may have been difficult, they were always together. Even while she was in the hospital she was looking at guitars and picked one out for Joe’s birthday present. They delivered it to her right at the hospital. Betty showed us how important it can be to think of things that can bring someone you love joy for a long time, enduring well beyond the present. Their Love isn’t just fleeting, it endures.

Bringing me to the last type of love that I am going to mention, Agape. Unconditional love to her fellow man. Betty was always willing to help her fellow man if there was a way to. I remember going on some of the shut-in visits with her and Uncle Herbie. The two of them would engage in conversation and you could literally feel the happiness in the room. The shut-ins may not have all been people we knew well, but they enjoyed the company. It was a blessing to get to experience that with them.

All those different words, Philia, Storge, Ludus, Pragma, Eros, Agape, all mean love. Betty loved. If there’s anything she did while she was here it was that. She loved life. And made sure we all had a good example of love to learn from.

When we were kids, we would come to Windom for xmas eve service. We’d be here with so many of our family members and friends, and I remember there was a song we’d all sing after they’d turn off the lights. We’d pass a spark of light through the congregation while singing One Little Candle. Betty was a candle, sharing her love light with each of us. She’s left the world a brighter place than when she came. If we each continue to share these lights with even a few other people, we’ll be able to keep the memories of Love alive for everyone.

New Family Member : Pudge

Everybody has trouble sometimes. I've been having a lot of trouble with my anxiety and my depression. Work has been stressful, not to mention the things going on in the rest of the world. So there has been a lot of uncertainty.

But We have a new family member. He is small and slimy and wet. With pretty color flecks. It's taken a few days but we've decided to name him Pudge. Because when he looks at me he reminds me of the weather controlling fish in Lilo and Stitch.

He is kinda a splotchy color, with shiny coppery spots. His gills have like brown tendrils on them. I also learned some new things at the reptile show on sunday when we picked him up.

I didn't know that axolotls have 4 toes on their front feet and 5 toes on their back feet. It's really weird because it is a common trait.

I enjoy the fact that he is little right now, and now he is all floppy and seems to be exploring his tank. We put in a different type of filter because the other one might have been dangerous to his little arms and legs. And even though he could potentially grow them back if they did get injured. I don't want to see him get hurt if he doesn't have to be.

But yeah. This is our pet. I haven't had one in a long time, but it is helping my... anxiety already so I that is a good thing.

Lindars' Stories Revisited : Suzy Snowflake (Installment 1)

Suzy Snowflake

Or the Winter Break Folly

In small towns, it’s not uncommon for the youth to tell scary stories. At least it didn’t use to be. But since computers and TVs have become stronger influences, the old stories have been dying out. The children turn instead to patchwork stories told through films and video games, forgetting all too quickly the stories that used to make them shiver in the night. This is where our story commences. In an older house, a short walk from the lake.

There the landscape is dark save for a few lights that shine through a dark houses lower front windows. Upon closer inspection, the light displays to those that would peer in a group of children. They are sitting in the half dark under the watchful eye of their babysitter. They sit there telling tales about their summer exploits. The television sits in front of them, off. It has a slightly mournful air to it. The children were told by their parents that it was broken, and the children in the blind faith that only the young have believed them. The babysitter on the other hand knew the truth. Had the kids simply looked closer they would have found that someone had unplugged it.

But even so tonight was going well. The kids weren’t fighting, and there was a wonderfully light happy playful feeling in the atmosphere. The kids were happy because there was only 2 days left until their winter holiday would begin, and there was a lot of snow in the forecast in the coming days. The babysitter was also happy, curled up on the recliner in a fleece blanket she pondered her own world as she mused about the one the kids were talking about. She really had nothing to worry about for a month. It was about that long anyway when spring semester would start at the college. The only thought in her mind that was slightly problematic was that she only had 5 days left to complete her shopping in. Luckily tonight’s job was going to give her enough money to make that possible.

The kids were starting to run out of stories though, and were getting antsy. They weren’t as content as earlier but they were getting tired. They’d also been entertaining themselves for about 5 hours now, so she didn’t mind that they were getting tired and fidgety.

“Aer! We’re bored! Tell us a story?”

“I don’t know a story that y’all wouldn’t already know.”

“Can we sing Christmas carols then?”

“Sure, that sounds fun enough. Go ahead. I’d like to hear Jingle Bells and the others like that.”

The kids laughed in response and all started to sing loudly. Not all of the words were always correct, but that was ok. As long as everyone was having fun, what did it matter?

As each of the kids slowly dropped off to sleep, Aer would drop a blanket over their form. She also checked the time, sighing as she noted how late it was getting. Soon she would either have to get them up and ready for school or perhaps their parents would do that. She couldn’t remember exactly what the agreement had been in that regard.

She turned around at the sounding of a soft yawn. The youngest child was still awake

“Aren’t you tired Caroline?” Aer asked scooping the five year old up. Caroline snuggled into Aer, as she settled them both into a lounge chair.

“Mhm.” Caroline murmured, her fist nearly shoved all the way into her mouth. “Will you please sing me a song?”

Aer rocked Caroline gently. “Sure I could. Just let me think a bit. There must be some song that y’all forgot about. I would almost swear though that you kids know all the songs that I know.” She kept rocking the chair, humming a bit trying to remember a song.

“That sounds pretty…” Caroline said burying herself in Aers side.

Aer laughed quietly as she struggled to remember the words. They flitted around her mind on the outside of her conscious thoughts. She could almost hear them, in her grandmothers voice, but that had been years ago. “Hmmm la la la…” She had more than a little trouble remembering the words. “Da..da…tumbling down… Suzy Snowflake…”

What's in the Oven : Grandpa's Family Stuffing

I don't want to lose this recipe, so I'm going to post it here... family recipes are always a treat. Thank you for sharing Scarlett. From Huck.

Grandpa's Family Stuffing Recipe:

4 Loaves of sliced white bread, about a week old (we use 5-6 loaves for our larger family so adjust accordingly)

Parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, poultry seasoning, light salt & pepper to taste.

3 green peppers, chopped into dice NOT MINCED

3-4 stalks of celery, chopped into dice NOT MINCED

2 medium sweet yellow onions or 1 super large one, chopped into dice NOT MINCED

1 stick of butter, real butter and salted. No substitutes or healthy stuff.

5-6 eggs (about 1 egg per bread loaf) beaten

4-5 cans or almost 3 large containers boxes of chicken broth

1-2 sweet red apples

One week before Thanksgiving, buy the amount of loaves of white bread you think you need.

2 days before Thanksgiving, cut or hand shred the bread into small cubes. Sprinkle in the seasonings, using your hands to press the seasoning into small cubes. We don't use measurements and go by the smell of the combined seasoning so you'll know by smell.

The day/evening before Thanksgiving, saute the vegetables in butter until cooked.

Drizzle the beaten eggs (2 eggs at a time) over the bread. Mix with a large wooden spoon/paddle.

Start adding the chicken broth. We like moist stuffing so if you prefer yours dryer, you might want to go with only 3 cans of broth.

Just keep mixing and mixing until all the bread is the same consistency and color.

Transfer to foil lined baking pans, cover with more foil. 4 loaves gets me two 13 by 9 inch pans and one 8 by 8 inch pan. We like to have a LOT of left-over dressing.

Right before putting in the oven Thanksgiving day, peel the skin off the apple and cut it into cubed pieces. Gently push in the cubed apple pieces, spaced out evenly throughout the stuffing and then lightly spread the stuffing over the apple cubes to cover them.

Then toss it in the oven to bake when the turkey is sitting, resting, and pondering it's fate.

Just Visiting : Shakespeare in Delaware Park : The Comedy of Errors

The second play of the summer start tonight! I hope some of you will have a chance to head out and see it while they perform. The cast spend a lot of time preparing, and each show is a little unique. Since I'm posting this reminder before seeing the show, I am going in blind as to the theme of the play. (I mean, why spoil it right?)

The Comedy of Errors
July 25, 2024 through August 18, 2024

Yes I know you may have read this before but as a reminder please keep in mind the following information.

Generally the shows run Tuesdays through Sunday evenings. They start at 7:30 pm, offering you the opportunity to enjoy an evening of professional theatre more or less free of charge. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on, your own refreshments and someone to enjoy the show with, unless you prefer to sit alone. They do accept donations at the intermission, and it is never a bad thing to support the arts..

Like past years I do recommend that you head to the park earlier than show time to get better seats, as it is frequently crowded. When we saw The Winter's Tale we arrived around 5:45 and the hill was already starting to fill up. There are some restaurants in the area, but I personally recommend bringing something with you to enjoy during the show.

I know I mentioned it in the past, by I will repeat myself because there are only so many ways to say things at times. If you're uncertain as to the part of Delaware Park the stage is located in, it's basically behind the Albright Knox Art Gallery, which is NOT close to the Zoo at all. . Please keep in mind that parking is on a first come first serve basis, so if you wish to park closer to the event you should go early. If you have children there is a wonderful playground close to the staging area so the kids can play before the show if you arrive early enough.

Just Visiting : Shakespeare in Delaware Park : The Winter's Tale

There are only a few more showings left of The Winter's Tale before they are on break until the second show starts. While it isn't one of the plays I had seen before, It has similarities to some of the others making it very enjoyable. If you have a chance to head out to see it you definitely ought to. We saw the show this past Sunday.

Being close to the water made it cooler temperature wise than some may have expected.

Losing Media : Disney Movie Club

I am posting this, more as a thought on the current trend I have been witnessing. Where online streaming is replacing hard copy media. People seem to be enjoying the convenience of online movie rentals, as well as audio streaming. But what does that mean for people in the long term?

What happens now with the movie club closing? How do people locate copies of hard to find Disney movies? Are they going to frown on people downloading titles that are not included in the Disney+ line up? What is the actual purpose of closing the movie club? Because in all honesty I don't feel it was really offering the films at a discount. What it did do though was make it a little easier to get copies of hard to find things.

This is where I finally got an official copy of Mr. Boogedy, and The Bride of Boogedy. Previously I had only been able to get a copy that someone transferred from a TV tape of the original airing of the films on the Disney Night Movies. The quality of the official DVD is much better (even though the slight clipping of commercials takes me back to the copy my parents had for us that we watched foreverrrrrr)

I know that right now the Disney company seems to be trying to cut the fat. The movie club really can't compete with Amazon at this point, especially with the Disney+ service being offered. Disney+ makes it much easier to watch the majority of their content.  But not everything is available there.

Anyway, I just wanted to save a screenshot of their goodbye page, as well as the 3 panel image they sent in their goodbye email. Mostly because I am sorry to see it go, even if I only used it minimally. Some things will still be remembered while they are gone.

My worry now though, is what do we do when physical copies are being made obsolete? They're not making DVDs as readily available at stores anymore, so how are we going to get copies of the movies we love and want to collect for places and times there are no streaming services available? It's definitely something to keep in mind.

What's on Screen : Playground

OK. There is a lot to unpack here. But let's just.... go with the fact... this is what the inside of my brain has been like lately. And having a way to actually show it in a way someone else might understand actually has me in tears.

Lindars' Stories Revisited : Mermaids Lament

Mermaids Lament

my heart is yearning for the sea
the place where once I roamed
among the green and ferny fronds
beside my hidden home

but foolishly I desired to roam the world above
believing 'tween the forest and sands
perhaps i'd fall in love

but people are not quite the same
they're burnt and hardened by the sun
not like those gentle souls that live
in mere moonlight strands of gold

but too late it is I've realized
that there is no return
for dreaming and wishing is all that's left
for a lost oceans soul

Lindars' Stories Revisited : 3 Hour Lament

 3 Hour Lament

My heart lies in a place so far away
Where the sun stays up three hours more
But rises three hours late
My thoughts are cold in the morning
Yet stay awake so late at night
Much to the disappointment if my peers
But I wish that it wasn’t so
I want so badly to have my heart
To feel it beat in my own chest again
But it’s never to be
For he’s taken it from me
I’m not dead, not alive
So I go through the motions each day
Making believe that I am what I say
But knowing my heart is so far away
So I rise three hours before the sun there
So I die three hours before it goes down
But when one’s already dead, what’s death?

Movie Collection Monday : A Long Overdue Update

I can't believe how long it has been since I updated the movie list to contain the new films I have added to my collection. With that in mind, I decided the few that I have gotten recently should be added so that I can get a few of them right into the movie trunk. Especially since I didn't get them in cases... But they were cheap and some of them were things I was looking for.

So I'll make a list but I am annoyed slightly at one item I got. It is a collection called Night of The Zombies. I was fairly certain I already had every film in the set. But after reviewing it against my collection there was one movie in it I didn't already have. Zombie Hell House. I didn't even have it under it's alternate title of The House by the Cemetery. So Boo Boo was correct.

The Addams Family The Complete First Volume
Beauty and The Beast (Disney)
Freaky Friday
Looney Tunes Premiere Collection (2 Disc Set)
Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection 2 (2 disc set)
Night of The Zombies Collection
    - Last Man On Earth
    - Night of the Living Dead
    - Revolt of The Zombies
    - White Zombie
    -  Zombie Hell House (The House by The Cemetery)
The Phantom of the Opera (Musical)

Since it has been a long while since I updated the list, I will have to review the movies I have here to figure out which ones are missing from the library sheet. But once I get reorganized, maybe I will start re-watching some of them to explain what I do or do not like about them.

Is there anything in the collection that you particularly are curious about? Or something you have seen that you think I should add to my collection? Please let me know.

Lindars' Stories Revisited : From The Dragons Journal

Ultimately there’s something exhilarating, in knowing that you’re one of the creatures that bring fear into the hearts of almost every living thing. But fear is contagious, and eventually the thing you fear most is yourself, because there is no one to say that it’s ok. There are no boundaries between reality and what they imagine that you can do and become.

That’s one of the problems that the world has with dragons honestly. There is this whole order to things, and they say that magic is merely another name for illusion and that everything can be solved by science. But then what is science? Is science simply the breakdown of magic into terms that help the unbelieving to see the truth?

I can’t really say. I haven’t had the time or the luxury to delve deeply into the realm of science itself. Instead I spend my time pondering and trying to figure out ways to correct the wrongs and to help people to believe in the unbelievable, to simply have faith that what they can not see or feel or touch might really exist. There Is so much more to the world than what they decide is here.

I should know. Here I am wishing that I didn’t have to hide my reality when I walk amongst them. Wishing that there was a way to exist within their world and yet be what I really am inside. But people fear too quickly what they don’t understand. And fear of being considered a monster is more than enough to make one as myself and most of my kindred stay out of sight and out of mind.
