I'm sick of seeing all this crap on facebook that says "God will Make America Great Again" or other various iterations of the same, sometime saying the bible, or Trump. It doesn't work like that. You can't fix America by using pictures and then sitting back and mocking other people.
I hate the posts people make to belittle other people (stupid videos are different than just a photograph with commentary printed on it). If you aren't interested in the appeal someone might share with various folks, DON'T look! You don't have to linger on images or things that brew nasty negativity. Sharing said things doesn't make you a bigger person either, it makes you smaller. And proves that YOU are looking for someone to feel like you are better than.
I hate to tell you this but you're not better than anyone else. At any of our cores, when stripped of clothes, accessories, names, titles, and the skin, we are the same. Our insides are all meat, fleshy bloody cores. Skin color doesn't mean anything. All it means is that we have different backgrounds.
We're all human and the only way to make anything great again is to use our free will. God (regardless of what you call the higher powers in your life) granted free will to humans, we're not puppets that he will manipulate. So stop trying to pretend he's going to change everyone else to fit YOUR mold of what you want.
The world is a BIG place, and it doesn't include only you and the things that you're comfortable with. In fact there's people out there that may be uncomfortable with the things you take for granted. It's even scarier because there are people who want to use religion as a way to rule everyone. But not everyone follows that religion. Remember that at it's core there was a separation of religion and government for a reason.
So if you want to see change, start being the change. Be nicer to people, stop sharing mean things. Start saying more positive things to other people. Work on building people up. Because the real downfall of anyone is when people stop caring about each other and focus on their little corner of the world. We need to stop and think about it.
Start shopping at smaller businesses to keep the money in our local communities. Help people who may not be doing as well as you are. (And not only during the holiday season, every part of the year). Buy handmade items, frequently they last far longer than store bought. Repair things, fix things. Money is one of the things that ruins people. But if you start using it wisely to build your community, you will see a change.
So stop being so negative, and start taking steps to enrich your community by caring about it. PARTICIPATE. Take note of what needs to be done, and even if you can't do it, maybe talk to someone who can. Make friends, friends are the family you weren't born with. So make friends and take care not to hurt them.
Use your free will wisely. And no matter where you are, you'll see things improving.
Stop being a negative ass.
Thanks.
